Live Commerce or Shopstreaming, call it what you want! LiveComm Tutorshop is a plugin that brings the physical shopping experience to the online world. You interact with your customers in real time, through live and chat, and sell your products and/or services on the same screen. The buyer watches the live on the seller’s website, interacts via chat, and can buy the products presented without having to leave the live screen, because the selected goods are displayed below the live, with a purchase option. Made for any type of store and category: cosmetics, clothing, services, games, bazaar, whatever you want! Sell ​​more by interacting with your customers and create a new revenue stream with this new and modern sales model. This is the first beta release of the plugin, please give us your feedback so we can improve. Thanks 🙂 ## Installation • Minimum requirements: 1. Have the Woocommerce Plugin installed 2. PHP 7.2 or higher is recommended 3. MySQL 5.6 or higher is recommended ## FAQ ### *What is shopstreaming?* Shopstreaming means using live streaming technology for the purpose of making online sales. In this way, while a seller is showing and talking about a certain product, the consumer can interact, ask questions and, in a few clicks, make their purchase. ### *Is LiveComm Tutorshop a streaming plugin?* No. We mirror or embed a stream from a live platform and give you the opportunity to present your products alongside it. ### *And how does the chat work?* The client can either send you questions and messages through your wordpress website, or directly in the streaming platform, so you can interact with both kind of customers from the same tools, however the idea is to always to invite all all customers to your website, where the user can buy the products just below the live. ### * How do I schedule the live?* Click on Dashboard > Settings > LiveComm Tutorshop, there you can click “Add new live”. Then, you must fill in the the following fields: 1. Stream title = Title of the livestream 2. Stream Platform = Choose which stream you want to use, twitch or facebook 3. Live Url = the identifier of your livestream in the platform. You must fill this field differently depending on what platform are you using. We currently don’t verify the content of this field, so if you don’t file this correctly your stream may be broken. Below are the necessary information from each platform to schedule your stream: Twtich: your username only, with no @. (e.g.: monstercat) Please be aware that allowing ads on your twitch stream will cause problems for the user watching, as twitch detects a embed player as a ad-blocked page and shows you a purple screen asking you for your money. ``` Youtube: the unique identifier from your livestream’s url (for example, if your live’s url is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-POY4Q0QSI, you need to fill in 'F-POY4Q0QSI' with no quotes ) Facebook: your page or profile name + the unique idenifier of the livestream (for example, if your stream is playing at https://www.facebook.com/NowThisNews/videos/303635051966218, you must fill in '/NowThisNews/videos/303635051966218' with no quotes) Please be aware that currently only streams made on twitch have the ability to show the live chat on the website. We're working hard to change this ;) ``` 1. Product Category = Woocomerce product category with the products you want to showcase 2. Live date = Live date and time in the format YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss (for example, 1969-04-20 04:20:00) ### *How do I select the products that I want to appear on the live?* Simply create a new product category on Woocommerce and select it when scheduling your live. Please be aware that there is a limit of 10 products per live.
